Ancestry is an indispensable resource for today`s genealogist, whether you have an individual subscription or use a community source, perhaps through a public library. Along with similar services like findmypast.co.uk and familysearch.org it has turned the dispair that came with contemplating reel after reel of microfilm into the challenge of using the search facility effectively.
It also offers the opportunity to make links with researchers with similar interests — distant cousins.
In this conversation Lesley Anderson, who works for Ancestry, explains what will be covered in her pre-conference seminar Ì can`t find them anywhere! at 9:30 on the morning of Friday 16 September.
