The Home Children Deaths database will help researchers see where these children lived and the important role they played in Canada’s development in war and peace. It is intended to complement memorials, such as the Barnardo Girl’s Memorial in Peterborough, Ontario that lists approximately 8,000 names of children who passed through the Hazel Brae Home, and numerous other databases intended to aid in Home Children research.
